The Bollettino della Società Paleontologica Italiana (BSPI) is an international peer-reviewed journal founded in 1960 by Eugenia Montanaro Gallitelli, Professor of Paleontology at the University of Modena. The BSPI is the journal of the Società Paleontologica Italiana, published both in print and digital form and distributed to all members. Three issues are published yearly, corresponding to one volume.

The BSPI has been indexed since 2008 in key abstract indexing databases such as ISI (Institute for Scientific Information), Scopus, and Clarivate Web of Science. It first obtained its Impact Factor in 2011 and its IF for 2023 is 1.3.

The BSPI is hosted by the Dipartimento di Scienze Chimiche e Geologiche, Università degli studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, via Campi 103, I-41125 Modena, Italy.
